Cuban scientists demand an end to the genocide in the Gaza Strip

The members of the Cuban Academy of Sciences call to condemn the genocide committed by Israel in Palestine. We support the statements of multiple international scientists and researchers who condemn the systematic and widespread destruction by Israeli forces of cultural buildings, including institutions of great historical importance, and all aspects of life in Gaza. Israel has systematically destroyed all universities in the Gaza Strip in stages over more than 100 days. The first stage included the bombing of the Islamic and Al-Azhar universities. The other universities suffered similar attacks; some, such as Al-Israa University in southern Gaza, were completely destroyed after initially being used by Israel as military barracks.
