The Russian Ministry of Defense has declared this Thursday a humanitarian catastrophe in Mariúpol and a similar risk in Kiev, Kharkov and Sumy.
Thus, the Russian Armed Forces are organizing a ceasefire to evacuate citizens through humanitarian corridors, the agency reported.
In addition, according to the Ministry, the humanitarian situation is disastrous practically throughout Ukraine. At the same time, the officials stressed that Russia has created all the necessary conditions for the safe evacuation of civilians. Specifically, more than 142,500 people, including 39,661 children, have been evacuated from the area where Moscow's special military operation is being carried out.
At the same time, the Defense Ministry denounced that Ukrainian nationalists are preventing the evacuation of more than 6,000 Indian, Vietnamese and Chinese citizens from Kharkov. A group of Chinese citizens were targeted by Ukrainian fire while trying to cross the border with Russia, two of them were seriously injured.
Despite the circumstances, Russia placed 130 buses ready to take foreigners out of Kharkov, Sumy at border points in the Russian region of Belgorod. Also, this Thursday, more than 300 tons of essential products will be delivered to 14 humanitarian movements in the Ukrainian provinces of Kherson, Sumy and Kharkov.
