For customs purposes, SHIPMENTS are all those received using the services provided by companies and entities expressly authorized to do so, by messenger or postal services, or by using air or sea freight, the latter through air waybill or bill of lading, as applicable.
WHO CAN RECEIVE SHIPMENTS?
Persons residing temporarily or permanently in the country may receive shipments containing items or equipment not expressly prohibited. In the case of items or equipment subjected to regulations by a competent body, the person must submit to customs the relevant authorization document.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SHIPMENTS
- They should not exceed the value of 200 pesos M/N each Items must be declared.
- One single item should not be received in commercial amounts.
- Groups of parcels sent for different addressees under one person´s name won’t be allowed.
