As part of the renewal process planned in the direction of the Union of Young Communists (UJC), the National Committee of the organization approved - in recent days, through the consultation method, due to the complex situation generated by the pandemic - to release from his responsibility as First Secretary to comrade Diosvany Acosta Abrahante, who was recognized for his work results and will go on to carry out other tasks assigned by the Party leadership.

Instead, it was agreed to promote as First Secretary Aylín Álvarez García, who had served as Second Secretary for more than a year. To occupy this last responsibility, Lisara Liliam Corona Oliveros was promoted, who worked as a member of the National Bureau at the head of the sphere of Young Workers and Combatants; and for this position Dilberto Manuel González García was elected, until now First Secretary of the Provincial Committee of the UJC in Granma.

The young people who now reach these responsibilities have a long history as activists and leaders of the organization. They came to the professional work of the UJC after more than five years of work experience and entered the ranks of the Party with less than 30 years of age due to the merits they earned.

Aylín, 34 years old and graduated in the specialty of Art Instructor, joined to work, recently graduated, in two student centers belonging to the general and special education of her native Caimito, where she materialized projects dedicated to children with disabilities and behavioral disorders.

At that time, her life had been linked to the UJC when she entered the organization through the special growth process in 9th grade. she degree and be secretary of the base committee at the school of art instructors March 13, San Antonio de los Baños.

She became municipal and provincial president of the José Martí Art Instructors Brigade, of the then province of Havana. Her gradual transition led her to be the first secretary of the Municipal Committee of the UJC in Caimito, an agricultural territory, for later, with the purpose of increasing her preparation, carrying out the same responsibility in the capital municipality of Playa, where she was more directly linked to young people from the science and tourism sectors, those who distinguish this territory.

Later, she was promoted to the Provincial Bureau of the youth organization to attend the educational, health and sports sectors and, later, she became the first secretary of the Provincial Committee in the capital of the country. She currently served as Second Secretary of the National Committee of the UJC. She was elected a member of the Central Committee of the Party in the 8th. Congress. She is a Deputy to the National Assembly of People's Power for the municipality of Caimito, Artemisa province. As part of her interest in continuing to improve herself, this young woman, a mother of two children, recently began her doctoral training.
