Customs of Cuba: Enforce the provisions for the entry and exit of cargo from national territory

Of the regulations established for the entry and exit of cargo and other merchandise from the national territory, Customs is the body in charge of enforcing them in Cuban ports and airports.

Lisset Domínguez, director of Legal Affairs of the General Customs of the Republic of Cuba, spoke about the authorizations and permits issued by the bodies, ministries, as well as the higher state entities for cargo entering and leaving the country.

The specialist explained during her appearance on Haciendo Radio de Radio Rebelde that, in the case of not having the required permits, the cargo will be retained for a period of 30 days, until natural or legal persons can process said information with the competent body. permits and being able to properly formalize the merchandise upon its entry into the country.

In other words, in this accompanied or unaccompanied baggage the cargo requires special permits from the agencies, otherwise Customs could retain it.
