The first secretary of the Central Committee of the Party and president of the Republic Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez attended the final day of the VI International Conference for the Balance of the World, held at the Havana Convention Palace since January 28.
Upon arrival, the president greeted those present and referred to the importance of an event like this in the current context. “We thank those who visit us for being here, given the cost of coming to Cuba in terms of pressures and threats,” he said.
Díaz-Canel alluded to core issues in the current context, such as the blockade against Cuba, the need for the Panama Canal to belong to Panamanians and genocide against the Palestinian people.
