Motivated by the importance that the Canine Technique represents in Customs as a modality that supports the work of confrontation in the Cuban borders and on the eve of the 40th Anniversary of the creation of the specialty; A team of radio and television journalists in the province visited the facilities of the "Abel Santamaría" International Airport on July 5.
As part of their visit to our unit, the journalists had the opportunity to appreciate various training exercises, thus demonstrating their detection capabilities. Interviews were conducted to be broadcast on radio and television on July 8, starring Canine Instructor Duniesky Ibañez Pérez, canine drivers Pedro L. Pedrosa Rodriguez and Kelvis Ortas Muñoz and Maykel Lorenzo Ruiz, veterinary doctor of the unit.
