To generalize the positive experiences, so that they are the rule and not the exception in the territories; for the Municipal Development Strategy to be a true management tool; to promote the popular participation of the population and workers in all processes; and to exploit existing reserves and potential to consolidate local autonomy and self-sufficiency; called the member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Party Esteban Lazo Hernández, head of the National Assembly of People's Power and the Council of State, at the meeting on July 13 with presidents of the Municipal Assemblies of People's Power from all over the country .
The working session, held via videoconference from the National Capitol, was attended by the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez; Ana María Mari Machado and Homero Acosta Álvarez, vice president and secretary of the Cuban Parliament, respectively; directors of the Auxiliary Offices of the National Assembly, governors, mayors and other guests.
