46ª Conferencia Anual del Consejo de Aplicación de la Ley Aduanera del Caribe (CCLEC)

With the participation of the Vice Chief of the General Customs of the Republic, José Luis Muñoz Toca, since last May 27, the 46th Annual Conference of the Caribbean Customs Law Enforcement Council (CCLEC) has been taking place in The Bahamas, an event of utmost importance for the security and economic well-being of the region.
Scheduled to run through Friday, May 31 at the British Colonial Hotel, this conference will bring together customs officials, policymakers, industry experts and representatives from various regional and international organizations.
The event promises to be a dynamic forum to share knowledge, best practices and innovative strategies to address the challenges and take advantage of the opportunities that lie ahead for customs administrations.
CCLEC has 38 member countries and territories and its primary mission is to improve and enforce customs laws, facilitate legitimate trade, and ensure the security and prosperity of member states.
The theme of the conference this year is "Transforming the customs landscape to meet changing needs", with the intention of fostering a collaborative environment, which aims to equip customs administrations with the tools and knowledge necessary to navigate in the rapidly changing landscape of international trade.
