In 2016, the Authorized Economic Operator program was launched in our country, with the first entity to receive said certificate being the joint company Internacional Cubana de Tabacos S A, which was subsequently received by:

• Construction Importer and Exporter Company (IMECO)
• Gamma Investments
• Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB)
• Brascuba Cigarillo S.A
• ZED AUTOCENTER
• AICA Laboratories
• Cuban Telecommunications Company S.A (ETECSA)
Certification is voluntary and free; manufacturers, importers, exporters, transporters, port and airport warehouse operators can access this program.
