The implementation of Resolution 48 of 2022 has allowed the improvement of this process and increased the facilitation of commercial procedures.
Currently, the 258 companies authorized to carry out Foreign Trade activities are processing their operations digitally to the VUA, of which: 16 are agencies, 106 process directly and 136 process through said agencies.
This means that at this time all entities transmit their documents in digital format for customs operations, only in exceptional cases for very specific reasons is it carried out outside of this format.
