The basic competition of the canine technique is carried out at the Cienfuegos Customs with the aim of enhancing the preparation of the dog units and guaranteeing an effective and timely confrontation in the face of events that put national security and internal order at risk. During it, it was possible to verify the good performance and skill shown by the contestants in the scenarios used. The event was chaired by the Head of Customs, the Head of the Customs Processes Department and the heads of the Canine Technique and Risk Management and Control Sections. The scenario was conducive to show that the Canine Technique of our unit guarantees and is constantly preparing to safeguard our border in line with its 40th Anniversary of its creation in the General Customs of the Republic. The first places were in charge of: 1st Place in Explosive Specialty: Dog Unit Liudmila Ramos Hernández and her dog Ayato. 1st Place in Drug Specialty: Cinófila Unit Lázaro Sánchez Casales and his dog Queso
