President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez participated in the closing session of the Tenth Congress of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution.
“There is no other conclusion: the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution are indispensable and inseparable from the Revolution. And they will continue to be so as long as the Revolution exists. In other words, they will continue to be that way forever.”
“It is crucial to revitalize and strengthen the work of the CDR, closely linked to the role that the organization must play in the current conditions that the country is experiencing.”
In the session, the work of the largest mass organization in the country was discussed: its operation, the need for its updating and strengthening, the incorporation of more young people in its leadership, and the importance of its work in each community of #Cuba.
The Hero of the Republic of Cuba, Gerardo Hernández Nordelo, was re-elected as president of the CDR.
