Cuba and China remember Fidel's contributions to the biotechnology sector

Experts, academics, diplomats and scientists from China and Cuba today recalled the contributions of historical leader Fidel Castro to bilateral cooperation in biotechnology.

Regarding the 98th anniversary of the birth of the top leader of the Cuban Revolution, those present met at the joint company Biotech Pharmaceuticals Limited (BPL) and reviewed the milestones of scientific collaboration.

In statements to Prensa Latina, Bai Xianhong, president of BPL, highlighted Fidel Castro's vision of the future, when in the 1970s and 1980s he urged the island's scientists to dedicate themselves to biotechnology.
