The first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and president of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, will participate this Monday in the posthumous tribute ceremony to the 13 combatants of the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR) who died in the attempt to put out a fire in a work that stored war material from the Holguín Military Region, in the Eastern Army.
Today we will be in Holguín, in posthumous tribute to the 13 combatants of the Revolutionary Armed Forces who fell in the line of duty, the president wrote on the social network X.
The first secretary and president decreed this Sunday an Official Mourning in Cuba, from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., on January 20, 2025.
