Cuban Prime Minister meets with president of the Iranian Islamic Assembly

The Prime Minister of Cuba, Manuel Marrero Cruz, met this Thursday in Tehran with Mohamad Baqer Qalibaf, president of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, at the headquarters of that nation's Parliament.

“In exchange with Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, president of the Iranian Parliament, we ratified the will to continue strengthening bilateral ties, with emphasis on the economic and commercial sphere,” Marrero Cruz published on his X account.

“The relations between Cuba and Iran were described as historic and positive, based on permanent friendship,” the Cuban Government published on its account on the same social network.
