Díaz-Canel congratulated Claudia Sheinbaum, elected president of Mexico

The president of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, congratulated this Monday the elected president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, after the National Electoral Institute (INE) confirmed the victory of the former head of Government of Mexico City with between 58.3 and 60.7% of the votes.

“In a telephone conversation with @Claudiashein I reiterated the warm congratulations for her election as president of #Mexico and conveyed our admiration and sympathies for her victory,” the Cuban president wrote in X.
