Esteban Lazo and vice president of the National Assembly of Vietnam lead a working meeting of the parliamentary committees

A fruitful working meeting was held this Monday, at the National Capitol, by the permanent commissions of the National Assemblies of the Republic of Cuba and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, prior to the start of the Interparliamentary Session between both legislative bodies on September 24.

The day held in the Baraguá Hall of the emblematic National Monument of Havana was headed by the member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Party Esteban Lazo Hernández, president of the National Assembly of People's Power (ANPP) and the Council of State, and Nguyen Duc Hai, vice president of the National Assembly of the brother Asian country; where legislators analyzed the broad potential that exists to strengthen bilateral ties in the areas of economy, finance, energy, health, sports, education, culture, science, agri-food, constitutional and legal, among other areas of mutual interest.
