As part of the actions carried out by the country's airport authorities, the Gustavo Rizo Airport Unit in Baracoa, Guantánamo was inspected in order to certify it so that it can receive international flights.
Together with managers of the Base Business Unit (UEB) Santiago de Cuba Airport, specialists and selected workers (mechanics, traffic representatives, among others), together with the representatives of the #CustomsSantiagodeCuba and Immigration and Foreigners, the potential of the installation and specific needs with the objective of training the personnel available for the operation of international flights.
