The IV Conference The Nation and Emigration, which will be held in Havana on November 18 and 19, will have a wide audience, announced on digital social networks the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba Carlos Fernández de Cossío.
«We aspire to have a broad representation of Cubans who live in many parts of the world; to those born in the country and to those who were not born, to the descendants, including those who reside in Cuba and remain for long periods outside the Homeland," said the vice chancellor.
"We aspire for it to be a frank and constructive debate, which helps strengthen Cuba's ties with its emigrants and which fulfills the purpose that Cuba unites them," said Fernández de Cossío, who also announced that the agenda of the meeting is " adapted to current times, to the changes and reality of the world and of today's Cuba, and to the process of economic transformation that is taking place in the country."
