
The Russian innovation center Skólkovo reported that it approved five pharmacological projects from the Cuban corporation BioCubaFarma.
The information, published this Thursday on the Telegram channel of the Skólkovo foundation (the main agency of the Russian Innovation Center for the Development and Commercialization of Advanced Technologies), specified that all the research projects presented by BioCubaFarma are innovative.
Furthermore, it is highlighted that “the five proposals are innovative molecules, the first of their kind in the world.”
One of the proposals is a project by the Center for Drug Research and Development for the treatment of Parkinson's disease. The initiative has received funding since 2018 in order to carry out preclinical studies and begin clinical trials in Russia.
