The Foreign Minister of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, affirmed this Saturday that coercive measures such as the United States blockade against the largest of the Antilles, are a serious obstacle to the full achievement of economic and social development.
In his speech at the Third Voice of the Global South Summit, organized virtually by India, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Caribbean island urged to multiply solidarity and cooperation in the face of coercion, unilateralism and selfishness.
He recalled that his people have been suffering for more than 60 years from the serious and negative impact of a suffocating economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States government, intensified to the extreme since 2019.
