United States: 46 congressmen ask to remove Cuba from the list of State sponsors of terrorism

In a letter dated this Wednesday, July 31, 46 United States congressmen have urged President Joe Biden to reverse the designation of Cuba as a supposedly sponsoring country of terrorism and have recognized the role of the Cuban Government in the peace agreements in Colombia .

The letter, with a copy to the Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, expresses the concern of the members of the legislature about the arbitrary measure against Cuba, which fulfilled its commitments as guarantor of the peace talks process in Colombia.
