The VIII Plenary Session of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba begins this Friday, July 5, under the leadership of its first secretary, President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez. On the agenda are food production and the prevention and cooling of corruption, illegalities and social indiscipline.  The Political Bureau will report to the Plenary.
