The presence of the youth of the Mercantile Control Customs at the Fidel Castro Center was notable as part of the action plan for the 60th Anniversary of the Socialist Customs and the 69th of the assaults on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks.
During the tour of the Center, the young people got to know closely and delved into the life, work and thought of the eternal Commander. The reasons for being continuators and defenders of their ideas, of their ethical and moral principles, of just causes, of the revolutionary, anti-imperialist and good patriotic sense were radiated in their hearts.
There are numerous activities to be carried out during the year and the youth is the protagonist, strengthening and supporting them is everyone's task, they are challenges in a difficult context, but as Fidel will express "To believe in young people is to see in them, in addition to enthusiasm, , ability; in addition to energy, responsibility; in addition to youth, purity, heroism, character, will, love of the Motherland, faith in the Motherland! Love for the Revolution, faith in the Revolution, self-confidence, deep conviction that the youth can, that the youth is capable, deep conviction that great tasks can be placed on the shoulders of the youth!”
