Children face a new era of threats and challenges, warns the UN

The world has entered a new era for children in which climate change, conflict, inequality and their interconnections are disrupting their lives and limiting their future, warns a study by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) .

At the beginning of each year, UNICEF examines the risks children are likely to face and suggests ways to reduce potential harm. The latest report, Children's Outlook 2025: Building resilient systems for children's future, calls for strengthening national systems designed to ensure they have access to the support they need.
