A delegation from the General Customs of the Republic (AGR), headed by Enrique Díaz Rodríguez, First Vice Chief of the organization, visited our University of Havana (UH) with the aim of consolidating relations between both institutions; were received by Dra.C. Miriam Nicado García, rector of the UH; as well as by various members of the institution's management.
During the conversation, possible joint work actions between the UH and the AGR were discussed. Among them, the option for UH students to do internships in the customs system was well received. Special attention was paid to the training and postgraduate training of AGR personnel and to the job placement of recent graduates.
To end the afternoon, an agreement was signed between both institutions that will serve to solidify the outlined cooperation ties, and to draw up a roadmap for future actions.
