The Ministry of Finance and Prices extends the non-commercial importation of power plants, above the value established today for air, sea, postal and courier shipments.
Here we expand
-The Official Gazette of the Republic published this Thursday in Extraordinary Edition No. 18 Resolution 61/2023 of the Ministry of Finance and Prices that extends, until December 31 of this year, the non-commercial import of power plants.
-In its "Whereas" the resolution clarifies that the decision has been made after assessing the benefits that the acquisition of power plants through shipments brings to the residential sector, given the contingencies in the national energy system.
-This regulation allows the importation of power plants with a power greater than 900 watts, whose reference value in Customs exceeds the maximum value allowed to be imported by air, sea, postal and courier shipments -as long as they do not have character commercial-.
-The regulations are applicable to operations that are submitted to the General Customs Office of the Republic until December 31, 2023.
