Ministry of Finance and Prices approves flexibilities in imports that are carried out without a commercial nature by natural persons.
The following was exceptionally approved from July 1 to December 31, 2023:
The exemption from payment of the customs tax is authorized for imported products classified as food, toiletries, medicines and medical supplies that are imported by passengers as unaccompanied baggage up to a limit of 500 United States dollars (USD) of the equivalent value or weight up to (50) kilograms in the value/weight ratio established by the General Customs of the Republic.
