Expocaribe 2023 International Fair from June 21 to 24 in Santiago de Cuba.
The Expocaribe 2023 International Fair will be held from June 21 to 24 in Santiago de Cuba where preparations for the event are intensified. Since its rescue in 2019, and after the pause due to Covid 19, the last edition of 2022 once again focused attention on Expocaribe. For our part, the 2nd Head of Customs and Head of the DC Department participated in the Organizing Committee Meeting, giving to know the Customs Regulations for the realization of the Event, also knowing all the organizational details. In a press conference it was specified that the delegations to participate from France, Canada, the Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, Martinique, Germany and Great Britain, among other nations. In terms of communication, the expocaribe.cu website is updated and the call, a promotional spot and documents will soon be published in the three official languages of the event: Spanish, English and French. For his part, Omar Hernández, director of the Heredia Cultural Complex, said that this institution, headquarters of Expocaribe 2023, receives special attention and maintenance work is undertaken to provide its areas with greater comfort, contribute to mobility and access to some upper rooms and in generating making it a functional venue for this event. The note concludes by stating that Expocaribe constitutes a space to promote foreign investment in the eastern provinces of Cuba, promote exportable funds and import substitution, carry out business as part of the improvement of the Cuban Economic Model and exhibit the professionalism and competitiveness with which commercial commitments are assumed between the different state and private actors.
