Head of Cuban Customs Nelson Cordovés Reyes inaugurated the Container Control Unit

As part of his visit to Santiago de Cuba Customs, the Head of Cuban Customs Nelson Cordovés Reyes inaugurated the Container Control Unit attached to the Container Com program of the World Customs Organization and the United Nations Office on Drugs and the crime.

This is the second unit of this type in #Cuba, which is added to the one already existing at the Mariel Container Terminal. In this way, cooperation ties with international organizations are strengthened and, with this, the capacities to confront illegal customs agents and, in particular, international drug trafficking, are strengthened.
