“We are living in a post-media society. Witnessing the end of the masses,” said the journalist and doctor in Social Sciences Ignacio Ramomet, speaking this Wednesday at the VI International Conference for the Balance of the World, which is meeting at the Convention Palace.
The professor in Communication Theory of Spanish origin and living in France referred to the current situation of the media in the world and the influence of social networks.
Ramonet made a first observation: “When we talk about communication, it is not so much about ideas as about the vehicles that move ideas. That is, from the media.”
