International Day against Drugs is celebrated on June 26 each year to raise awareness of the problems and challenges posed by drug trafficking around the world. This date was established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1987, with the aim of strengthening international cooperation in the fight against drug trafficking and promoting the prevention of drug use. Despite the efforts made, the problem of drug trafficking continues to be a threat to the safety and well-being of people throughout the world. Therefore, this day is an opportunity to reflect on the importance of continuing to work together to address this problem and promote a world free of drugs.
