Who shone as an intellectual, politician, essayist and researcher, also became a Doctor of Historical Sciences from the University of Havana, a Master's Degree in Studies on Latin America, the Caribbean and Cuba, and a specialist in Archaeological Sciences and; as well as Honorary President of the Cuban National Committee of the International Council of Museums (Icom) and of the Cuban Committee of the International Council of Museums and Sites (Icomos) and of the Heritage, Community and Environment Civil Society.
