They highlight the importance of the EJT half a century after it was founded

The constant and decisive presence of the Youth Labor Army (EJT) in the greatest tasks of the Cuban Revolution for half a century, marked today, in this capital, the commemorations on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of its foundation.

The political act and military ceremony, held at the Anti-vectorial Headquarters in Havana, was attended by the Hero of the Republic and Army Corps General Joaquín Quinta Solá, Vice Minister of the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR); other heads of the FAR and the Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution; Idael Pérez Brito, head of Agriculture; Party and Government authorities in the province; and officials from the ministries of Transportation, Public Health and Culture, among other agencies.
