For the celebration of Bank Worker's Day, the province of Matanzas was chosen because it was the province with the best overall results for the Popular, Ahorro, Bandec and Cadeca banks. It is also the territory with the greatest progress in completing the workforce and recovering computer media. It is among those that have made the most progress in the banking process. It maintains good results in union functioning and in the completion of union structures.
The sugar company Héctor Molina, from Mayabeque, won the venue for the event for the Sugar Worker's Day. Among its recognitions, it holds the Labor Prowess, a prominent group at the national level, and the José Martí Order.
It has delivered more than 300 MW to the National Electrical System and has contributed more than 300 million pesos to the State budget.
Among other achievements, it has produced a thousand tons of syrup and in the social sphere it serves three schools, the same number of family doctor's offices, the winery, the pharmacy and contributes to the comprehensive image of the community. Within this, the recovery of two playgrounds stands out.
