The Head of the General Customs of the Republic (AGR), Nelson Cordovés Reyes, participates in the official act of the Regional Vice Presidency of the World Customs Organization on the occasion of the celebration of International Customs Day. The Secretary General of the World Customs Organization, Mr. Kunio Mikuriya, dedicated a few words to the Customs Administrations of the region, as well as the Assistant Secretary General of the WCO. The Chief of the General Customs addressed a congratulatory message to the Customs of the Americas and the Caribbean Region and expressed the need for greater effort and cooperation in the fight against COVID-19, where Customs have a facilitating role. and control of the import and export of vaccines and medicines so that countries can reverse the serious situation we are facing today.
